Loved the cover photo. That is what drew me to read the book excerpt. I’m not really a fond person of continuing story book excerpts and tend to avoid reading books with that format. Author was able to create Mr. Black as a complex and interesting character. It must have been interesting researching his character. Liked the story line but, not enough to move on to remaining books.

111 pages in and there is nothing but pointless background information and useless conversation. Ellie isn’t at all interesting in the least so save your time because the book is putting me to sleep.

The entire book has double spaced paragraphs. Many paragraphs are single lines. The end result is a novella, or close to it, with many more pages than it should, like a trick high schoolers use for term papers. The book is OK, I've read much sexier in the same story type and also worse. It's good enough that I would have bought the series though if I didn't feel conned by the page count. The series is about twice the price per word than you think .

As I read this story about a charismatic man named Aiden, he became real and I was hooked. His alter-ego is demanding, powerful, dominant and sexually charged and as his attraction for Ellie grows, I can see her blossoming into a more adventurous and liberated woman, as he is becoming attached to her. They spend time exploring their sexual chemistry as well as getting to know each other. Fear is seen in Ellie as she gets to know him as wants to avoid heartbreak and he fears loosing her. Ok, that’s all the peak you’ll get from me. Trust me when I say, not 5 Stars: 5 O’s is a better meter. Mrs K on Goodreads, Amazon and Booksprout. ❤️

To her good fortune she was auctioned off to a hottie. I'm ready to see how their story ends. The cliffhanger ending leaves me wanting more immediately.
